Caroline Brooker’s lifelong interest in other cultures serves her well in her role as Founder, Director, and President of Philadelphia’s Avante Language Services. As an undergraduate, Caroline Brooker studied Spanish at Temple University, where she also earned a Certificate in Multilingual Business and Government Studies. During her undergraduate years, Caroline Brooker studied abroad at the University of Puerto Rico and also spent a summer perfecting her Spanish in Seville, Spain. Before establishing Avante Language Services, Caroline Brooker worked in the banking and manufacturing sectors and also taught Spanish at the university level. Although Caroline Brooker’s language skills lie in Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Russian, she is constantly exposed to languages ranging from Arabic to Mandarin and beyond through her work at Avante Language Services, as well as though her vast international network of friends and colleagues. Caroline Brooker is dedicated to expanding her personal horizons through travel, and her other hobbies include continuing her study of foreign languages.
